Sandokan was an Argentine comic magazine published by Editorial Columba in 1982-83.
History
Sandokan included a few American comics in every issue, like "Mandrake the Magician", "Tarzan", "Superman", "Spiderman", "Prince Valiant", "Quincy", "Popeye", and etc, or Euroepan comics like "Gringo". A total of 28 issues were published and "the Phantom" appeared in a total of eight issues. All of published stories have been newspaper strip stories, printed in color. In 1982 "Sandokan" was published weekly, but in 1983 switched to fortnightly, after Editorial Columba started another fortnightly series called Super Sandokan. First twelwe issues were printed in newspaper portrait format, but last eight issues were in landscape A4 format.
