Xander Drax (played by Treat Williams in the film) is a power mad businessman who sought out the powerful Skulls of Touganda in a bid to use their power to rule the world.
Fictional Character Biography
A shrewd business man with a lust for power, Drax planned to capitalize on world instability. Learning of the Skulls of Touganda and the power they hold Drax sent his men all over the world to get them. To aid him in his search he solicited the help of The Sky Band, at the time lead by Sala. He also employed Quill, a member of the Singh Brotherhood. When Quill located one of the three Skulls in the Bangalla jungle he encountered the Phantom. Seeing the Singh Brotherhood symbol tattooed on Quills arm the Phantom tracked him down after his escape which, in turn, lead the Phantom to Drax.
Once Drax had possession of two of the Skulls they showed him the location of the third Skull, an uncharted island in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle which also happened to be the headquarters of the Singh Brotherhood. The Phantom followed Drax to the island and, learning that is was a Singh stronghold, engages both Drax's men and the Singh. During the altercation between the Singh, the Phantom and his own men Drax was able to gain possession of the three Skulls. Driven mad by power Drax attempted to use the Skulls on the Phantom, but was unable to control their power and was consumed by it, dying in an explosion of pure energy.
