Jeffrey Boam was the screenwriter who wrote the screenplay for the 1996 film 'The Phantom' starring Billy Zane, which was adapted into a novelization in the same year by writer Rob MacGregor, who considerably fleshed out the story, included scenes cut from the theatrical run, better realized the characters, and greatly expanded the origins of the 1st Phantom.
