King Comics was an American comic book published by David McKay Publications from 1936 to 1952. It was a compilation of newspaper strip reprints such as "Mandrake the Magician", "Brick Bradford", "Popeye", "Henry", "The Lone Ranger", "Blondie", "Prince Valiant" and "The Phantom".
"The Phantom" appeared in most issues from #61 to #158, but not in #148 to #155.
