Hunted is a 1994 Team Fantomen story, written by Lennart Moberg, with art by Kari Leppänen.
Plot synopsis
Former president Luaga is banned from his own country, though escapes from those who are supposed to follow him out of the country and contacts the Phantom. Together, they enter the presidential palace in search of clues and Luaga finds evidence that the new presient Kigali Lubanga has been sponsored by the enemy neighbor country Rhodia. However, the Phantom feels a bit uneasy of everything. Luaga tries to get the new evidence to the people but is arrested and put in Boomsby prison. However, Luaga manages to escape and is found by the Phantom. When the Phantom hears Luaga explain what happened, he does not believe him and instead thinks that it is a dirty trick from Luaga. Enraged, Luaga punches the Phantom, the Phantom is about to punch him back, and thereby marking him with the Skull Mark, but hesitates and instead lets him go. However, their frienly relation is ended.
