Appleton Post-Crescent is an American newspaper that published "The Phantom" daily strip from 1962 to 1976.
History
The Post-Crescent (previously Appleton Post-Crescent) is a daily newspaper based in Appleton, Wisconsin. "The Phantom" first appeared in Appleton Post-Crescent on October 15, 1962, with beginning of the story "The Mysterious Ambassador". The Phantom removed from comic section with the end of story "Mystery of Kula-Ku", on July 31, 1976.
