"The Battlements of the Nomad" is the 182nd Phantom Sunday story. The story was written by Tony DePaul and drawn by Terry Beatty.

Plot synopsis

The Phantom follows a group of the Python's loyal followers to the Nomad's Lair in the desert East of Timbuktu. The Python's loyalists fight to get inside but the Nomad and his faithful aide Sgt Xavier Maurice successful defend the Lair. The Nomad goes on to track down those who attacked him, Sgt Maurice cleans up after the battle, and the Phantom discovers the Nomad's computer data along with a backup computer drive, which he delivers to Colonel Worubu.
