"The Floating Coffin" is a 1979 Team Fantomen story, written by Norman Worker, with art by Kari Leppänen.

Plot synopsis

21st Phantom narrates a story from the life of 16th Phantom. The 16th Phantom saves the life of a woman named Asta Jensen, his future wife, when the pirates were trying to drown a ship with her being on-board. It turns out that the captain of the ship himself, under the instruction from the owner of the ship, George Trelawny, was trying to drown the ship for an insurance scam. The Lloyds Insurance company had to pay an hefty amount to Trelawny for the missing ship. 16th Phantom with the help of Lloyds Insurance company, infiltrates Trelawny's crew and sets a trap to catch him red handed.

Contains origin story of Captain Walker and the 1st Phantom with the Singh Pirates.
