Talk:Jeep Comics

Sorry to have no more information than what can be taken from the front page of the issues. On the web I read that those military produced giveaway comic-books change for becoming "G.I. Comics" with the issue # 35 and then into "Overseas Comics" by issue # 63. But somewhere else - also on the web - it is said that "Jeep Comics" continued until issue #52... What is the truth ? Is anyone knowing something more about those publications ? It is easy to see that the front page of "G.I.Comics" looked very close to "Jeep Comics" but I haven’t found any mention of some Phantom strips in descriptions of "G.I.Comics" although the review was yet published with the help of KFS... Another point : on my issues, there is no publisher’s name, but on the web again, it is indicated "R.B.Leffinwell Co"… Who knows something sure ? By the way, the "Jeep Comics" issues have not real cover (= it is the same paper from the first page to the last page), unlike the usual comic-books protected by their covers, so I think most of the copies must have be destroyed since the time that now separates us from their original printing… Alain03 15:54, 14 February 2012 (CET)
