Popeye Meets the Man Who Hated Laughter is a 1972 American animated TV film directed by Jack Zander. Its length is 46 minutes, and it was an episode of ”The ABC Saturday Superstar Movies” program. It was produced by King Features Syndicate and Hal Seeger Productions.

The film has poor animation, but it is remarkable because of its official cross-over contents. It includes tens of King Features comic strip characters, among others the Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, Lothar, and Flash Gordon. So these heroes met here 14 years before "Defenders of the Earth" series and merchandise.
