Plot synopsis
The American millionaire Vanderbilt visit the Jungle Patrol headquarters for permission to film a rare bird who has been spotted in the Misty Mountains. Colonel Worubu reluctantly give his permission on condition that a member of the Jungle Patrol, corporal Cy Jason, attend the expedtion.
Colonel Worubu has submitted a list of Jungle Patrol recruits to be approved by its commander, the Phantom; all recruits are approved.
The Vanderbilt expedition is robbed of their clothing and Mrs Vanderbilt's jewellery one night and corporal Jason disappers. The Phantom tell colonel Worubu that he will investigate the disappearance of the Jungle Patrol soldier. At the Jungle Patrol headquarters the recruits have arrived and one recruit in particular stand out, Mary Blake, who excel in all the tests. Colonel Worubu doesn't think that the commander will allow women to join the Patrol.
One of the tests is surviving in the jungle for two weeks and Blake head north towards the Misty Mountains while the Phantom is secretly following them. She and her co-recruit Jones is captured by a group of women who rule the secret city of Simbawium, making a living from attacking trade caravans. The Phantom arrive and convince their leader princess Yasmin and the others that they are better off living in the modern society. Recruits Blake and Jones bring the women to the Jungle Patrol headquarters where they volunteer. The commander tell Worubu that he can now form a female troop in the Jungle Patrol.
