Oscar Correa is an Argentine cover artist.
He illustrated some original Phantom covers for Editorial Nómina in early 1960s.
Biography
Oscar Correa was born in Rosario, Argentina. In early 1960s he started to work for Editorial Nómina and illustrated covers for their Historietas Extra series. He also drew comic strips like "Desafío al destino" and "El traidor". In 1975 he drew comic strip "Vida de Bairoletto" for magazine "7 Días", published by Editorial Abril. He supplied for Ediciones Record with comic strip "Las yeguas de Nugget" (he used pen-name "Osco") in 1978. In 1996 he drew "Hernan el atrevido" for La Nacion. Now he lives in Buenos Aires.
