Lisandra, or more formally Lisandra of Baronkhan was the mother of Rex, the adoptive son of the Phantom.

Fictional Character Biography

Lisandra was born when her father, the ruler of Baronkhan, was old and he came to love her deeply.

She went to school in Europe and there she fell in love with a fellow student. Her father opposed their relationship and ordered her to be brought home. Then, she escaped with her beloved student and married in secret. Her father tried to annull the marriage but it was too late: Lisandra was pregnant. To try and do the best of the situation, he arranged a great wedding in Baronkhan.

Tragically, Lisandra died giving birth to Rex and her father then ordered Rex to be taken away for adoption. Rex's father died mysteriously the day after Lisandra, and it was never made clear whether he fell or was pushed down a cliff.

When her son Rex was twelve years old the truth of Rex's identity was discovered and Rex was made the heir to the throne of Baronkhan. Within the year, Lisandra's father was dead and her son was made the new prince of Baronkhan.
