La Revue populaire was a Canadian magazine that published one incomplete "The Phantom" Sunday story in French in 1980 .
History
In 1980, the magazine La Revue populaire was published in Montreal, Quebec, for the French-speaking market. In the middle of the magazine, there was a removable 16 pages comic section. Unfortunately, after six issues only, the publication was abandoned. Titled La Revue populaire (not the same as another magazine with similar name, published during the thirties), the magazine was published from May 3 to July 5, 1980. The comic section included also comics like "Bugs Bunny", "Nancy", "Popeye", "Blondie", "Superman", "Hi and Lois", "Ferd'nand", "Mandrake the Magician", "Henry", "Mutt & Jeff", "Yogi Bear", "Star Wars", "Mickey Mouse" etc.
