José Clemen was an Argentine cover artist.
At the end of the forties and during the fifties, he drew various covers for the Colección Robin Hood, a famous series which retaken in comics classicals novels from world wide authors. He also illustrated covers of the weekly western series Poncho Negro edited by Antigua Revista Historieta and some covers for the Argentine war comics magazine Fuego!. He has occasionally drawn war style comics.
He illustrated some original Phantom covers for Editorial Edmal.
