Plot synopsis
In The Skull Cave The Phantom reads a story from his younger days when he was riding on a motorcycle through the US under the nickname Johnny Hotwire. In a small town in California he became friends with Deck Davey and his friends in the motorcycle club Hell Dogs and stayed there for a few weeks.
