All seven covers were created by George Camitz, although he was not officially credited. Two of the covers did not feature the Phantom at all, but instead the back-up comic "Hoplaong Cassidy".
The famous Fantomen logo, that is still being used today (although updated) was designed by the first editor, Rolf Janson.
