Escorpião

"Escorpião" is a Brazilan comic, heavily based on "The Phantom". It was published by Editora Taika, after threatened lawsuit for plagiarism by RGE, the publisher commissioned a new version of the hero.

History

Escorpião was created by Wilson Fernandes in 1966 for Editora Taika, the character changed little over the Phantom, his adventures passed in the Brazilian forests and had the mark of the scorpion RGE claimed copyright infringement against Taika, this then was forced to redesign the character, which is now designed by Rodolfo Zalla.
