Sorting

Would not it be better to sort these characters after their surname, in those cases they exists? Since the Phantom is not a comic like "Donald Duck" or "Bamse", but a more realistic one. Appearances

I was going to place this on one of the characters talk pages but it effects all of them so instead of having notable appearances shouldn't we list all of there appearances --Dark Lord Xander 07:50, 28 January 2008 (CET)

Sure, if all appearances are available. By calling it "Notable appearances" we sort of reserve ourselves to the possibility of missing a story or two, but the final goal is of course to list every appearance. Member 7 08:08, 28 January 2008 (CET)

That might become difficult, due to the fact that Lee Falk has made some mentions of the different previous Phantoms, then Team Fantomen and others have sometimes changed this in the stories in order to make them agree with previous mentioning. The list of such things seem endless to me, and I have only heard of such things that mainly Team Fantomen have admitted. Though, of course, most stories where the past Phantom is having a more major role is usually attributed to the same Phantom as Falk gives, an exception is "The Fourth Son". I've completed most character pages with what I am just about positive is complete lists of appearances. In order for us to know which lists are complete, as well as to make reservations regarding the 100% accuracy of them, I've created Template:AllApp to be added . Subcategory:Futuristic Characters

I propose that a subcategory Category:Futuristic Characters is created in order to distinguish between characters created for Defenders of the Earth (TV series), Phantom 2040 (TV series), The Ghost Who Walks, and such futuristic things from those that exist in the main line of stories as we usually think of. Some characters, most prominently Heloise, daughter of the 21st Phantom would be figurating in both these categories, though if they do not have particular pages for their futuristic alter ego, they coul probably remain safe in the ordinary Characters category. I felt the same when I saw the 24th and 27th Phantom in the "Characters" category. A seperate category for characters that appear in futuristic settings sounds good, but if they appear in the present day-stories aswell (like Heloise) we can keep them in just the Characters category like you suggested. Category choice

I was wondering if it would be better to put organizations such as the jungle patrol and the Singh Brotherhood in a category of organizations rather than characters as really they are not characters themselves --Dark Lord Xander3 22:45, 7 March 2008 (CET) Also then in the case of characters who belong to an orginisation there can be categories for members of things such as the singh brotherhood--Dark Lord Xander3 08:42, 13 March 2008 (CET)
