Blanche was a member of the Sky Band.

Fictional biography

Blanche was the aircraft mechanic of the Sky Band. She was stationed at the Sky Band's emergency hideout base on an uncharted tropical island in the Pacific Ocean. When the Sky Band ceased operations, others left the island but Blanche stayed. Alone for many years, she kept the base (including an underground hangar) in good condition, but became somewhat delusional herself.

When Narda and May Riff made an emergency landing on the island during an attempted around-the-world flight, Blanche mistook Narda for the Sky Band's former leader Sala. The excitement of meeting who she thought was Sala again and reviving the Sky Band was too much for Blanche, who passed away in an apparent heart attack. The Unknown Island
