Arbetet was a Swedish newspaper published in Malmö from 1887 to 2000. From 1966 to 2000, there was also a local edition published in Gothenburg.
"The Phantom" Sunday strips were published on Sundays in the Malmö edition of "Arbetet" from January 12, 1969 to February 7, 1971. They were not published in the Gothenburg edition.
There was a second run of "The Phantom" Sunday strips on Saturdays from 1981 to 1993. During this period, there were several differences between which titles were published in the Malmö edition and which were published in the Gothenburg edition, and The Phantom only appeared in the Malmö edition.
