1985 Documentary illustration
The 1985 Documentary illustration was created by Hans Lindahl. It was created for the first part of a two-part Swedish documentary tv series about comics. The first part was called "Blöjbyte i Bengali" ("Diaper Change in Bengali") and was broadcast on March 12, 1985. This part contained a segment about the Phantom, mentioning that the 22nd Phantom could be a woman. Hans Lindahl is shown pencilling and inking an illustration of a female Phantom, presumably Heloise as the 22nd Phantom. In an interview, Lindahl says that he doubts that there can be a female Phantom.
The second part of the documentary series was called "Ankan värper guldägg" ("The Duck Lays Golden Eggs"), a reference to Donald Duck.
The artwork was later printed in Fantomen 12/1986 where Lindahl is presented and interviewed. The filming of the documentary is mentioned in the article.
The same artwork was later reprinted in Från lila vålnad till blågul hjälte.
