The Phantom publications in Germany

The Phantom has been featured in several publications in Germany (or West Germany, prior to 1990). From the late 1980's until 2022 there was no Phantomcomic released in Germany.
Currently, there are five regular Phantom publications.

[[Wick]] is currently publishing all the storys, which are painted by [[José María Ortiz Tafalla]].

[[Zauberstern]] has published every other month a mixture of US, Australian, Swedish and newspaper stories, starting in 2025 they realeased Phantom Spezial, which focused on Artist ''Graham Nolan''.

[[ECR]] is publishing the newspaper stories by [[Sy Barry]] from old newspaperreprints.

[[Kult Comics]] had published 2 Books, which covered the full work of the French illustrator [[Jean-Yves Mitton]], together with various authors, which created stories for the Swedish magazine Fantomen.

[[Zack]] has published Stories from author Bernd Frenz from the Team Fantomen Stories, starting in November 2024.

Comics & mehr publishes the Heiner Bade Collection in 2026.

WandelnderGeist: GERMANY: Added/Uploaded the last German Covers

I have noted that you at more than one occasion have nominated a cover for deletion and then uploaded a new version of it, most recently with [[:File:PZ 1942.jpg]]. I have taken that as that you mean that the quality of the image was bad and in need of replacement, hence I have removed the deletion nomination at every such occasion as a new version was uploaded. If I have been wrong here, then please inform me about it.

However, I would like to point out that there already exists a maintenance template that is meant to be attached to images that are in need of better version. If that is your intentions, then please use it instead and then remove it after a new version has been uploaded. The template is [[Template:Replaceimage]]. == Cover images ==
I noticed that when you recently created [[Phantom 98]], you put up a name for an image that does not exist yet. Are you planning to upload it soon? If you have no intention of uploading the cover scan, then I think that we should put up the [[:Template:Covermissing]] so that the article is marked as in need of a cover scan.

I also have a memory of encountering similar things in the recent months, i.e. issue articles with links to cover images that does not exists, and I think the same of them (I don't remember if you are responsible for all of their creations, but at least you are responsible for some). If you are planning to soon upload the covers, then it will only be extra work to put up the covermissing template, but if you don't, then I think it is important to put up the template. Also, is there a reason why you removed an example of a panel from "The Crown Jewels of Corba" story which I added? I was under the impression that additions of that sort were beneficial.

:Yes, many covers are incomplete, but we didn't want add bad quality scans in some cases, if it's possible to find better scans. So, not all scans from internet sources good choice. Especially, don't add scans with watermarks, but also cuted scans like that one Italian uploaded by you aren't good.

About story panel, that's actually panel from "[[The Valley of No Return]]", and I moved that link there, it's not removed. But it looks as original artwork, I think that scans like that should be replaced with another edited scans. And in this case, I think that panel doesn't represent story very well. The Phantom publications in Germany

The Phantom has been featured in several publications in Germany (or West Germany, prior to 1990). From the late 1980's until 2022 there was no Phantomcomic released in Germany.
Currently, there are four regular Phantom publications.

[[Wick]] is currently publishing all the storys, which are painted by [[José María Ortiz Tafalla]].

[[Zauberstern]] has published every other month a mixture of US, Australian, Swedish and newspaper stories.

[[ECR]] is publishing the newspaper stories by [[Sy Barry]] from old newspaperreprints.

[[Kult Comics]] started publishing stories from French illustrator [[Jean-Yves Mitton]], together with various authors, which created stories for the Swedish magazine Fantomen.

The Phantom has been featured in several publications in Germany (or West Germany, prior to 1990). From the late 1980's until 2022 there was no Phantomcomic released in Germany.
Currently, there are four regular Phantom publications.

[[Wick]] is currently publishing all the storys, which are painted by [[José María Ortiz Tafalla]].

[[Zauberstern]] has so far published every other month a mixture of US, Australian, Swedish and newspaper stories.

[[ECR]] starting with old newspaperreprints in December 2023.

[[Kult Comics]] announced that they will bring stuff also in December 2023, from the exceptional French illustrator [[Jean-Yves Mitton]], together with various authors, which created stories for the Swedish magazine Fantomen.

This collection includes the storys drawn by [[Sy Barry]] in this first one shot called Sammlerherzchen and Comic rundschau 17, in this 2 Magazines ECR realeased the first sunday Story of Falk/Barry for Promotion.

The official collection starts with the first Falk/Barry Dailies in December 2023, its planned to release all Falk/Barry Dialystorys.

Planned is, that it comes as a Hardcoverbook with 3 Dailystories in it, also as 3 seperate Magazines and a english Hardcoverbook is planed for release in Dezember 2023 (all with the same contend), till all dailies are released.

Bastei Verlag, actually BASTEI Romanbereich, is an imprint (an imprint in publishing is the word mark of a publisher, which appears in the book trade like an independent publisher with its own layout and logo) of Bastei Lübbe AG.

Bastei Lübbe AG is one of the largest publishing groups in Germany. The company was based in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, from 1953 to 2009 and moved to the neighboring Mülheim district of Cologne in 2010. The company's shares have been traded in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since October 8, 2013.

In this area, the publisher is now a leader in series aimed at male readers, as competing publishers have cut back on their programs. The only remaining competitor is Martin Kelter Verlag, whose target group is primarily women. Bastei release:Novel books, Crime & Action, Western & Heroes, Horror & Frightening, Science Fiction & Fantasy, Comics and many more.

The Speech Bubble (Die Sprechblase) is a longgoging german comic magazine that was first published by Norbert Hethke Publishing in 1978, after Hethke's death in 2007, the magazine was published by the Viennese publishing house Abenteuer pur!, the magazine has then been published by bsv Hannover since 2019, at the End of May 2022, No 246 was released.

The focus of The Speech Bubble is secondary articles on the subject of comics, in addition, various comic classics appear in German for the first time in the magazine.

After the change in the editor-in-chief, the concept of the magazine was changed slightly and the thematic range was expanded. Under the subtitle “The wonderful world of classic comics”, the magazine is now increasingly aimed at readers who are interested in classic comics – especially from Europe.

All ECR-Releases are reprinted from the original Newspaperstrips from old german Newspapers.

This collection includes the storys drawn by [[Sy Barry]] in this first one shot called Sammlerherzchen and Comic rundschau 17, in this 2 Magazines ECR realeased the first sunday Story of Falk/Barry for Promotion.

The official collection starts with the first Falk/Barry Dailies in December 2023, its planned to release all Falk/Barry Dialystorys.

Planned is, that it comes as a Hardcoverbook with 3 Dailystories in it, also as 3 seperate Magazines and a english Hardcoverbook is planed for release in Dezember 2023 (all with the same contend), till all dailies are released.

The Phantom has been featured in several publications in Germany (or West Germany, prior to 1990). Currently, there are two regular Phantom publications.
Wick is currently publishing all the storys, which are painted by [[José María Ortiz Tafalla]].
Zauberstern has so far published every other month a mixture of US, Australian, Swedish and newspaper stories.
