== Plot Summary ==
[[The Phantom]] sends a telegram to [[Diana Palmer-Walker|Diana]] informing her of a date when he will arrive att Marseille by boat. When they make a temporary hold at Algiers, the Phantom takes a walk with [[Devil]]. He then suddenly is confronted with a woman screaming for help from a window. Immediately he takes the stairs and knocks at the door to the flat of which the woman screaming were in. There, he discovers that everything was just a fraud to lure stupid tourist into an ambush to rob them. The Phantom quickly starts beating them down, but then, he hear the signal from his ship; it is about to depart from Algiers! He immediately leave the would-be robbers and starts running for the ship. The robbers, not realizing whom they have ambushed, then tries to stop him. He then reveal himself as the Phantom while fighting them and they are terrified. He then teaches the woman a lesson for acting as bait.

Suddenly he realizes that he has forgotten the ship and starts running, but it is too late; the ship has gone and the motor boat which he quickly hires to be taken to the ship runs out of fuel. He then sends a telegram to Diana to explain that he will be four days late.

Meanwhile, in Paris, Diana has great difficulties in persuading her mother that the Phantom is the right man for her. When the Phantom's telegram arrives to their house, Diana's mother quickly takes care of it, in order to destroy her daughter's relationship with the Phantom. Diana takes it very hard that the Phantom is not aboard the ship that he has written that he shall, though she convinces herself that something must have happened.

Diana's mother then makes her next move in that she makes her doctor telling Diana that she is ill and have to go back to the states. Diana writes a letter, explaining everything to the Phantom, however, her mother finds it and destroys it before making a new letter in which Diana ends their relationship.

When the Phantom finally arrives at Paris, he discovers the letter and has his heart crushed. Everywhere he look, he sees couples in love.

In the states, Diana's mother turns out to be of extremely good health and Diana is finally told the entire story of the telegram and the letter. She immediately send a telegram to an address in Paris of whom the Phantom has told her, the telegram arrives too late, however; the Phantom has already left for the jungle.

== Plot Summary ==
[[The 21st Phantom]] reads in [[the Chronicles]] about his grandfather, [[the 19th Phantom]], who in a fight got shot in the chest seven times by pirat rifles, but manages to make it back to the jungle, because he cannot let himselve allow to die without a heir to [[the Skull Throne]].
Dr. [[Bart Cary]] is lead by the [[Bandar]] to [[the Skull Cave]] and manages to rescue the Phantom. He is rewarded with [[the Good Mark]] on his wrist and a diamond, which Dr. Cary then uses to built a jungle hospital. <br>
When his sister [[Janie Cary]] visits him from New York she meets the Phantom and they fall in love. The Phantom asks Dr. Cary to allow him to marry his sister, but he denies. When he sends his sister back to America she asks the Phantom to kidnap her and they marry and she gives birth to a boy soon after.
Dr. Cary is so angry about the kidnapping that he removes the mark of the Phantom from the hospital, which is thereupon struck by lightning on May 10, 1897 and burns to the ground. Doctor Clark moves back to America and about 50 years later tells his child granddaughter Lucy about the good mark and the jungle. <br>
Still about 20 years later, long after Dr. Clark died, Lucy Clark has become American Beauty Queen and a famous actress. She goes on vacation to the jungle and plans to see the ruins of her grandfathers hospital.<br>
As a celebrity she is protected by the jungle Patrol by Sgt Tom Hill. She manages to slip past Sgt Hill with the help of Gill Dixon and Sam Bexter, who promise her to show her the hospital ruins but plan to kidnap her in order for one million dollar ransom.
When the Phantom learns about his cousin being kidnapped he rescues her.<br>

== Plot Summary ==
[[The 21st Phantom]] reads in [[the Chronicles]] about his grandfather, [[the 19th Phantom]], who in a fight got shot in the chest seven times by pirat rifles, but manages to make it back to the jungle, because he cannot let himselve allow to die without a heir to [[the Skull Throne]].
Dr. [[Bart Cary]] is lead by the [[Bandar]] to [[the Skull Cave]] and manages to rescue the Phantom. He is rewarded with [[the Good Mark]] on his wrist and a diamond, which Dr. Cary then uses to built a jungle hospital. <br>
When his sister [[Janie Cary]] visits him from New York she meets the Phantom and they fall in love. The Phantom asks Dr. Cary to allow him to marry his sister, but he denies. When he sends his sister back to America she asks the Phantom to kidnap her and they marry and she gives birth to a boy soon after.
Dr. Cary is so angry about the kidnapping that he removes the mark of the Phantom from the hospital, which is thereupon struck by lightning on May 10, 1897 and burns to the ground. Doctor Clark moves back to America and about 50 years later tells his child granddaughter Lucy about the good mark and the jungle. <br>
Still about 20 years later, long after Dr. Clark died, Lucy Clark has become American Beauty Queen and a famous actress. She goes on vacation to the jungle and plans to see the ruins of her grandfathers hospital.<br>
As a celebrity she is protected by the jungle police by Sgt Tom Hill. She manages to slip past Sgt Hill with the help of Gill Dixon and Sam Bexter, who promise her to show her the hospital ruins but plan to kidnap her in order for one million dollar ransom.
When the Phantom learns about his cousin being kidnapped he rescues her.<br>

== Plot Summary ==
[[The Phantom]] and [[Diana Palmer-Walker|Diana]] have decided to marry and the Phantom has to ask Diana's mother, [[Lily Palmer]], for permission to marry her daughter and gets a very forced agreement from a weeping mother.

Wedding invitations are sent through all the jungle and to two presidents and [[Colonel Jonathan Worubu]] of [[the Jungle Patrol]]. Mandrake and Lothar also gets an invitation. In front of [[the Skull Cave]], the Phantom and Diana are married by President [[Lamanda Luaga]] of [[Bangalla]] and [[President Goranda]] of [[Ivory-Lana]].

[[Miss Tagama]] catch the wedding bouquet as the Phantom and Diana rides off to [[Keela-Wee]], president Luaga wishes her well.

At Keela-Wee, the Phantom and Diana follow the tradition and takes a bath before rolling themselves in the sand and becoming like gold. They end up traditionally in [[the Jade Hut]] where Diana declares that she loves her husband's ancestors, his places and him.

== Fictional Character Biography ==
He has been sentenced to death in his absence, found guilty of murders in a dozen countries. Chatu is of the [[Wambesi]] tribe, but he did not carry out his crimes in his native [[Bangalla]]. After hiding with his soldiers in [[Rhodia]], he returned to Bangalla where he lived openly at a [[Mawitaan]] hotel. By threatening to blow up the nearby Government Center, where children of soldiers and police are cared for, he believed he could avoid the law. However, [[the 21st Phantom|the Phantom]] intervened and confronted Chatu. With help from a suicide bomber, Chatu managed to escape, thinking he had killed the Phantom in the process.{{Storylink|Terror in Mawitaan|Terror in Mawitaan}}

Chatu and some of his men managed to hide in the jungle, but were found by Rhodian soldiers who had crossed the border into Bangalla. Chatu and his men managed to surprise the soldiers and by killing them they had access to equipment, weapons and a helicopter. As the Phantom learned of this, he set out into the jungle and slowly began to overpower Chatu's men. After realising that the Phantom wasn't dead, Chatu began to believe there could be some truth to the legends of the Phantom's immortality.{{Storylink|The Python of Bangalla|The Python of Bangalla}}

Again, Chatu managed to escape barely, believing he had killed the Phantom. Chatu's next plan was to extract ebola virus from bats to use for extortion. However, he contracted the virus himself in the process, and was saved by the Phantom and [[Guran]] - even though this meant that the Phantom risked his own life. Finally, the Phantom could send Chatu to the authorities, and he was inprisoned in [[Boomsby]].{{Storylink|Justice for the Python|Justice for the Python}}

Even from behind bars, Chatu plotted against his hated enemy, faking the death of his wife.{{Storylink|The Death of Diana Palmer Walker|The Death of Diana Palmer Walker}}.
